Buddy Bucket Console Extra Holes

1 Attachment(s)
I haven't seen these two holes on each side toward the rear of my buddy bucket console on other consoles I've seen on the board. Did someone drill these?

We have seen the holes in question on the OE suburban buddy bucket center seat console boxes, the holes were part of the console lid hinge/stop design found on the 67-68 burbs without a center seat backrest section. Here's an OE front buddy bucket seat setup removed from a 1968 suburban, have a look at pics 3/4. Mel :chevy:

Interesting!

The holes in my console may have been factory drilled for commonality, but never used since I have the pickup style hinge and backrest.
