72 fuel sending unite in a 68 tank with sniper?

has anyone used a 72 fuel sending unite with return line in there 68 in cab tank with a holley sniper ? I don't plan on changing out the tank.

I am using my original tank in my 70 with a Sniper. I modified the original sending unit to accept a return line. My fuel pump came with a fitting to facilitate this. I could not find the pic I took but here is one that is similar.

Yes the 72 6cyl. or 8 Cyl. w/Auto Trans. w/EEC fuel sender can be used and gauge will function correctly. If interested in new.
196226 After adding to cart select the following option
72 6cyl. or 8 Cyl. w/Auto Trans. w/EEC and has 1 fuel pickup line and 1 fuel vent line.
