How to get the steering wheel closer to dash?

Hi:
Is there any way to do that with the stock column on my 67? Or has to be an aftermarket?
Thanks

Recent thread had some stuff about getting columns cut down, among other options:

I had my stock non-tilt auto transmission column for 69 shortened. Perhaps the 67 column can be shortened as well. There are people on this forum who specialize in rebuilding columns and they may have experience and be able to do that for you. I recommend using a stock column. Mine is great. The person who did mine is randy500, who is no longer on the forum. He was banned because he would not give a refund on a part for somebody else, but my dealings with him were fine. If you have your column removed from your truck and can show pictures of it, some of the more experienced folks on the forum may be able to give guidance. I am not familiar with 67 parts and how they differ from the later years.
