1 more inch
3 Attachment(s)
I posted on here looking for drop blocks. Several members came up with the idea making my own. One even posted an eBay link for aluminum stock. So for $21 I got a 1x2x12” block, cut in half and drilled.
I did 1” drop springs in front and 2” drop springs in the rear. I liked it, but felt it needed 1 more inch drop in the rear. I like the drop block, it doesn’t affect my shock mount or spring travel. |

The drop is subtle, it looks real close to level but still has a small rake to it.

The first Summer is the worst for people from outside. And the first Winter was also for me, as I came here from California. Winter was a lot harsher here 53 years ago. I remember big snows storms in February. I was on the Mt Lemmon ski patrol in the '80s. Now the very idea is a joke. |
Re: 1 more inch
Just curious. Do not see a pin or hole in the block. Is the centering, locating pin not present on trailing arms as it is on leaf trucks? Did you just decide it was not needed and delete it?

Re: 1 more inch
There isn’t a centering pin on mine.
