Rebuilt the carb, slapped on a pair of glasspacks( straight from the headers, no tail or dumps) Fired it up after three months of sitting. Adjusted the clutch and took off around the block for a cobweb departure!

It was backfiring and the noise shook the neighbors houses! The beater was alive and my two sons were happier than a possum eating **** sitting in the seat beside me! I pulled up to a 4way stop and to the right a pretty nice plymouth roadrunner! I continued thru the intersection just a backfiring away! I was kinda embarrassed, but kept my cool for the boys! Limped it home and put up the tools for the night. I guess that old beater brought me and the boys a lil bit closer! And to think that the boss thinks it is a waste?
LONG LIVE THE BEATER!
