From my experience it doesn't mean that much. If you have a nice truck and it's built with options that most people prefer it will bring money just as quick as one that is restored to perfection, but not optioned very well.
Here is a perfect example. This truck is a 68 with features that aren't original, but most people would build it like this if they could. This guy builds them to sell them and had no problem bringing his asking price of 17500.00
