ZZ4 is a great engine, good power and reasonable cost. But since the topic is any engine, I think most are going to choose a little more exotic engine. I choose a twin turbocharged 427 s.b. built by some reputable shop. Since I am limited by dollars, reality says a 383 or 400 if available.
