Back in '92 I bought a '69 C-10 stepside from the USPS. It was theirs since new (apparently used as a "rescue" truck for broken down LLVs). The truck was original white with blue interior and a big Krylon white hand paint job on each door to cover where the USPS sticker once went.
Here's undoubtedly the WORST photo ever taken... and this was somewhat later in the project-- you can see the mismatched wheels as I've already put a disc brake frontend on it, and you can see the huge hole in the rear fender as I'm about to zip up the side marker area to look like a '67.
