I'll probably end up going that route. I just didn't want to have to fab that rear lip and the tapered ends on the ribs at the back of the floor-although I guess it wouldn't be too hard. My bed floor is really solid, except for two quarter sized rust holes at the rear edge on each side and just a couple of inches around the wheel well opening. I want to save 99% of my existing bed. The patch panels that I have seen are just the ribs, not the finished area at the back of the bed. I don't want to murder a good bed floor just for these pieces.
