Question A Solution??

Here's what I'm going to do:
Putting in a 700R4 mated up to my NP205 TC. I'm going to leave the TC crossmember and frame mount in the stock location and work everything forward from there. Meaning the 'adapter' that I will have to use to mate the 700R4 to the NP205 will bring the engine forward and so will the additional length of the tranny itself. I'll end up having to drill new holes in the frame (8) for the engine crossmember only. This will definitely bring the engine away from the firewall by about 3.5 inches I'm told.

Since theres no body on the rolling chassis right now, I figure its the easiest way and best time to do this.

What do you guys think?
