I certainly could be wrong, but I don't think it's the lifters that are the problem with solid rollers on the street, not if you get the isky red zones that is.... from what I've read it's the intense valve spring pressures that are hard on all the upper valve train parts and valve seats that make them "iffy" on the street.... That being said, I've never run or known anyone that has run a solid roller on the street, I'm just passing on what I've read..... cheers.
