Well i've been using newspaper before it was soybean ink, & they both work the same way. I think maybe its just the paper. Someone mentioned vinegar, that is hands down the best stuff i've ever used. I used to make my own glass cleaner. There was 3 parts. vinegar, ammonia, alcohol. I would mix all 3 parts equally spray it on & wipe it off. Then one day I ran out & mixed about half water & half vinegar, & it worked as good as the other stuff. Another tip i've used is to put some isopropyl alcohol in your washer solvent in the winter. It wont freeze, ever. Alcohol is hard on rubber parts though.
