Yes, the stamped "single" piece are for 3/4 ton. They are newer however. The originals for 71-72 are stamped steel with a tin dust shield welded to them.
That's why I am asking for a 3/4 dust shield (to repair the one I have original that is missing the tin) or has anyone used the newer.
I do not believe that there is any difference between Dana 44's from 71 to about 79 with the big hubs. All rotors and hub dimentions should be the same and so should fit. But I have assumed things before.
Anyone know for sure?
