I couldnt say what the airflow on the stock fan setup was. I run two 14" flex a lites, that are said to pull 1350 cfm ea, on a homemade shroud,4 row core, & painless wiring controls. The setup keeps my 383 cool in the 90 plus temps here in Illinois.
