Okay GREAT NEWS!!!!! Just got the dash lights to work. I think the plug in the back is not right. If I pull it out a little bit they come on. The ground wire looks like it was splice at one time so I just cut it there and grounded it underneath the dash. I don't think that was the problem though.

BAD NEWS!!!!! Still do not have a working fuel gauge. The grey wire is apparently the wire to the light bulb at the heater control. Problem is that the bulb holder is gone altogether. I'll try to find one in a junkyard I guess. It's just the empty hole behind the heater control.
