I agree. I owned my 72 Malibu for 5 or 6 years before I bought my 71 convertible. The hard top 72 has drip rails. I never thought about what drip rails do. Then one day I was in the convert with the top up because I was caught in a rain storm. The rain quits so I roll down the windows. The first corner I went around dumped all the water on the roof into the open window.
