I would soak the whole thing with degreaser and go watch Horsepower.Then rinse and resoak.Leave it over night and do it again.I like paint to dress up the engine compartment.If you can tow it to the car wash or have a power washer it will come a lot cleaner.Hope you don't got ice.A wire brush and scraper first will make things go quicker.
