I think I'll just scavange it for parts. It's got the turn signals, and mounting brackets. I'll pulll them off. After that, it's just chicken wire and a screwed outer grill trim...
I do have a '69-70 grill that I got with the truck that I'm going to list. It's got a few issues (typical dinks, scratches, a little bending on the bottom...)
It really helped getting the used grill with all the fittings on it. The only hassle I had was those damn hood corner bump stops. Soaked them in WD40 for and hour and still couldn't get them to turn without horking up the rubber pads. The phillips screw slot on top was totally worthless. I had three sets between all the grillls and didn't end up with one good one... I'm hoping they are available at Napa or through "help parts." New rubber would work if I could get it on the bolts.
Now I've just got to do a search and find out what folks use for painting the inner grill black.
