About the lowering leaf kit-I'm not sure. You might want to see what a set of bags cost for the rear. Some one around here must have done this drop with leafs.

Mmmm Bryan, Leaf spring trucks don't have a panhard bar. The rearend is centered by the leaf packs. I know a lot of the 73-87 guys are moving the axle from under the leaves to above for about 6" of drop. I am pretty sure this just all but requires the use of a C notch in the rear. Try contacting Tim Christian about the drop on his green GMC. It's a leaf spring truck thats stance is right on! I spoke with him while we were in Maggie Valley about the drop on his truck but I believe I was working on a pitcher of Margaritas at the time so things are a little fuzzy.
