I have been using & selling those belts for years (a little cheaper & with instructions & brackets for our trucks.
They are "inertia locking", so you have to pull them VERY SMOOTHLY when hooking them up. If you pull quickly, they lock up, but you just release and they keep coming. If you get ticked and fight them, they keep stopping.
