I put a Grant in my truck. I will admit that the installation kit and instructions left something to be desired. But I only had to make a minor adjustment to the horn contact plunger, to get it to work. I haven't had any problem with the horn working. I also don't have power steering, and will not be installing it. I was a little worried about steering wheel diameter, but have found that the 15" diameter that I went with, isn't any more difficult to steer than the 17" original was. Actually, the thicker Grant wheel feels much better than the thin original. I thought about going with a GM wheel from an '80s truck or '70s car, but had trouble finding a good one for a reasonable price. Most of them were starting to show age cracks in the covering. I only paid around $115 for the Grant, including install kit and tax. Anyway, if you stick with a 15" wheel, you should be OK. Good luck!
