No way you're gonna trash an TH400/OD in the same time as a 200/700.
I've been thru enuff hassles w/ T700's that there's NO WAY I'll go that route again. Maybe 4L80

seems like more hassle, same $$.
Splinting is cool cuz you can keep it in the powerband all the time if you're willing to click and shift.
