Been seeing posts about using vinegar to prep bare metal. Just followed this advise and wiped down some beautiful bare metal parts I am going to paint tonight. Problem is that now every inch of the metal looks like it has a bad case of flash rust in under 5 minutes.
Is the vinegar suppose to do this or did I misunderstand the "vinegar prep" posts? Do I know need to sand everything down again?
Help please.
