I put them on mine, and the flanges do not have a gasket at all. No leaks, and they fit pretty well. My truck sits in the garage, and we put 500 miles on it this year, so it is not used a lot. I like them and would buy another set. My SS Impala now has a crack in the exhaust manifold, so I am going to join you and shell out big bucks for some LT1 headers.....
