You don't want to work on the engine while it's hanging in the air by a cherry picker. You'll have a hell of a time trying to torque anything down to your engine or take anything off because it will just keep moving around on you. At the very least set it on a tire. Oh and in case you don't have some, grab some 2 inch 3/8's bolts and some washers to attach the chain to the block. If you're like me then once that engine comes out you're gonna go crazy and want to do all kinds of other stuff so I hope you have your mind made up that you're gonna do just what you say and nothing else cuz you might be opening up a can of worms.
