I would say performer intake for sure with a mild cam and a small vac secondary carb (600-650 size). If money is an issue then the dual plane stock intake, it is easier to change out later on too if you want to go the aluminum route.

I think they make a performer rpm intake spread bore version just not in the air gap type.
