My dad had a 67 Chevelle SS with a 396 in it that he bought new when he got out of the service. Still kicks himself for getting rid of it.

All my friends in High School back in the 80's had muscle cars and got 'em cheap; GT 350, GTO, Le Mans, Chevelle. I could have bought a 67 Firebird in darn good condition for $500 but my dad wouldn't let me cause he was afraid I'd get in trouble with it. He was right but it still fires me up.
