I put spindles from a 88-92 Chevrolet C2500 2wd (Lt. 3/4 ton uses 6 lug disc) on my truck... I did need to research the tie rod ends, and ball joints...
I used the 88-92 Spindle, caliper, rotor, ball joints (upper & lower). I used a mid-70's 3/4 ton lower control arm... (ball joint hole is larger and fits the 88-92 ball joint) Tie rod end I don't remember but it did all work... I did happen to have alot of this stuff already, so it made it cheaper for me.
I got the idea from a guy from Dallas. He may have more info... I'll try and find his name and repost it or do a search for the original thread. all his info was correct and right on...
