Your jets may be glogged a little, but more likely, you just need to tune it a little.
If your filter was that bad, you oughta set a weekend aside and service everything that you can think of. oil/filter/ tranny fluid and filter, diff oil, maybe flush the brake fluid, air filter, inspect the cap rotor plugs and wires...ect.
Less likely to leave you stranded this way...kist my .02 cents though.
