Since you are running a big block, it'll be
VERY expensive to do and have it hold up. Your best bet is to hook up with Jegs, summit, maybe TCI. They will give you the bad news in acurate numbers.
As far as truck mods, Chances are you will need driveshaft mods, and a real good balance job. Let them know it is fo an overdrive aplication.
The crosmember will need moved.
Some one n here said yur stock (automatic) shifter will work, but you might not be able to get to first gear.
You will need to get a T.V. cable and asosiated hardware. Best bet to have a pro set this part up. Make sure they do it with oil pressure guages and stuff, if it is not adjusted just right, your tranny will become a very expensive paper weight in short order. (like in 2500 miles)
Some thing to think about, esp if your current tranny is fresh, is the gear vendors over/under drive. They are awsome and indstructable. here's the link...I'll let them expalin it;

The 700 is an ok tranny when everything is stock, but it does not loan its self to swapping very well. A very picky piece.
I have been unimpressed with pretty much all the rear wheel drive over drive trannies made by the big 3. The ones they put in the normal vehices pretty much suck. (excluding corvete...whenre they beef it up cuz they know about the broblems) Ford ones blow, chevy ones blow, and dodge came close, but no cigar. And the 5 speeds in most light vehicles are a joke. Ever wonder why 3rd gen Cammaros never had 5 speeds? Cuz the T-5 couldn't even live behind the 305 with a person who drives it hard...nor the ford's 302. Get on any mustang or camaro board. They know it all to well.
Sorry, I'm rambling again.
