Mine was hit in 02 (totalled according to the ins. co.) & I had to settle w/the insurance. I had to tally up all the parts/costs involved in the build & had approx $5500 in the truck.

I settled w/the ins. company @ $4250 & got the truck back to rebuild. I originally purchased the truck in 00 for $2200 so my initial expense was more..... but the bang for the buck was good.

Kevin is all over the right methods to follow & has many great ideas on 'cost cutting'. I look forward to the finished product.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
