I installed some black seat belts out of a 93 S-10 in my son's 71 C-10 and they work very well. I made up new anchors for the retractor and relocated them about 6" forward of the stock location to get the belts away from the gas tank. I had to move the anchors inward slightly to clear the step plates.
(I did not extend the main belts as they seem to work fine for all of us who drive the truck).

pic 1 shows the retractor location for the right side.

I extended the middle belts 3" so that the belt buckles would stick through the seat far enough to get at them.

pic 2 shows the center buckles as they stick through the seat

The belts were attached at the stock shoulder belt anchor and I used a 7/16-20 seat belt anchor bolt for attaching the upper part of the belt.

pic 3 shows the upper belt as attached.

I would be happy to try to answer any questions on the installation.
