Such a huuuuuuge improvement...it's not even funny...
There were two reasons my grandpa hated my truck when he got it (he must've gotten a steal on it, it was a '70 purchased in laaaate '70 when the '71s were long out, after all) - the brakes (or lack thereof) and the 3 speed column shifter. Those were the two things I fixed first.
Between the two of those, the truck went from a pain to a pleasure to drive...
