Well I went from real crappy headers with flowmasters that dumped right behind the cab (under the bed). It was loud, leaked and was the main thing I did not like about the truck from the start.
The new system has center dump rams horns (1 7/8") with 2 1/4" aluminized pipe running down to a Flowmaster duel 2 1/4" in "Y pipe" and a single 3" out right into a 3" in /out flowmaster (40s I think) and single out the back right infront of the bumper. I have never had a street vehical that had a V8 and single exhaust but this thing sound just great
I went with a single out because I will be using this truck for my shop parts runner but also for my tow rig so I wanted more torque than top speed. But when I went for a parts run today I opened it up and top end is no problem at all
