I run a comp 268h in my monte carlo and they said it's good for basically stock motor as far as cabr, intake, headers and convertor goes, but it has a nice lopey idle and good performance too. I like it.

However I should have went bigger like the magnum 270 or the next one up since they say aftermarket carb, intake, headers, and converot r which I have all of the above now.

Some of the small block cam shafts said rough idle in small blocks and noticeable lope in big blocks. So I think the 268 would be a great all around cam for either one, especially if you'd like to have that camm'd up sound in them.
