I mean this in a general sense not toward this truck or anyone in partcular. '' Surface rust '' is surface rust. Isn't ''patina'' considered a faded,dull look? I know some can't afford the big bucks paint. But I can't see puttin' $$$ in wheels, suspension, interior etc. And still have a '' rusty'' ride. I know theres alot of ideas and opinions. I just think if you build a ride and do the above, I'd rather see a satin,primered,flat or gloss finish. Shop and logos are cool regardless of finish. But true surface rust not IMHO.
