I have 71 lower arms on my 69, so I havent run into the problem myself........but have talked with several guys that have. The 71-up balljoints will fit in the 67-70 arms, but the steering stops differ & will shorten the turning radius. If you have the truck assembled, you can grind the stops on the spindles, or modify the stops on the arms. Good luck....crazyL
