I like it too! I think the emblem was used on 67/68 CST's.

Yeah, the inside was originally textured on 67's (and as Andy said, some 68's.) The emblem just mounts by drilling 3 holes. Mine were snug enough so that it just kinda "sits there." If it ever pops off I'll add some glue or something.

You can kinda see the texture on mine in the pics below, shows up much better "in person."
