The trick to getting the stick-on trim straight is to lift the 'wrapper' from an inch or two of one end, stick that end on, pull it taught to the other end, and peel the wrapper off as you go keeping the trim close to the truck. Hard to describe but it's easy if you see it done.
Common miststake is try and put it on an inch at a time - it gets wavey. Kind of like driving - steer for a spot in the road 50 yds ahead, not 5 yds.
After having said that, I think you shoud cover the trim holes with those fake bullet holes.
