You should also have the last part of the VIN on the top of the driver's side frame rail about halfway between the front and rear cab mounts. My 70 had it there, but not on the frame by the steering box. The 69 had it in both places. But like Andy mentioned earlier it is not the full VIN, just the sequence # (I guess) for the VIN
