Didja get the issue resolved?

I found my data on the top of the frame rail, drivers side, just past the steering box going towards the firewall. It wasn't the complete VIN, but was "9S81...., which was just what the VIN showed on the tag and on my title and the SPID. Apparently, there are also numbers on the lower end of the right side frame rail, on the side.
