Your fan may cool it fine, once you drop in the alum. radiator.
I had this problem on my Jeep project. We tried a bigger radiator with a perma-cool elec. fan. It continuously overheated. We dropped in a be-cool alum radiator and it ran much cooler, still not cool enough for me, so I swapped the fan to a FLEX-A-LITE'S 15" HEAVY DUTY BLACK MAGIC P# - FLX-475. Now that fan rocks! It pulls twice as much air as the perma-cool fan did.
