so, I am pretty set on a 5.3/4L60E combo from SPS, sounds a killer deal at right around $5k

But has anyone installed an LS1 or an LS2? a 400hp LS2 would be just about perfect, and they have one available with a GTO 6-speed for $8k!!! (but alas, i think the 6-speed might be a real PIA and I dont want to cut up the truck anyway.
