Simple front seal question
Hey Guys,
I've got a 250 inline 6 here and it is probably the same as a 350 so I wnated to ask...
WITH the harmonic balancer off, would it be normal for it to leak oil when it is tilted forward down? I thought we might have busted the seal putting a balancer on, but I bought a new seal and it only seals around the shaft of the balancer, so if that is the only seal it makes sense that it would leak, but I wasn't sure if there was something behind it. Is this normal and I should just put the balancer on or what?
