of course, you will have to redo the mounts for the cab and bed, but the width of the frame in the front, where the engine crossmember is, is the same. now, the height of the frame is different though. I have an '84 crossmember in my '69, and used the "newer" style engine mounts. I had to add about an inch of bar stock to the frame for it to mount right. worked though.
