I don`t care what guys do to they`re trucks.These are a good way to get a bed on a truck w/o spending a couple thousand dollars.

BUT!!! Please get this straight! There were no Stepside beds produced after 1987.That`s right,In 1988 when the new design trucks came out they offered this bed and it`s called a Sportside.I`d expect a GM truck fan to know this

Not only is the name changed as well as the styling,these changed the narrow bed from a historic utilitarian functional design to a stylized modern design for a sportier look.With plastic bedsides and side steps too high to be very useful,it is a whole new beast.It`s a stylized version of a Stepside called a sportside.
