I am real sorry that you are having problems at chain auto parts stores.

I work at one myself, it starts with an "O" and our store has three people that are well versed in Chevy and GMC motors. If you are ever in the Southeast Missouri area, Sikeston, drop in and we will help you.

When possible we have people bring in their old starters or alternators so we can match them and make sure they get the proper product and have a good experience at our store.

It is amazing how many people don't really know what engine they have in their older vehicles. I found out that I have a '70 Chevelle 250 l6 in my '67 C-10. The previous owner told me it was a 292 out of a late 70's truck.
