I used a 3" cut off tool, cut an X in them and hit them with an air chisel and the came right out, got them both out in about 10 minutes. Yes the bed is on. Adding the drop blocks after 4" springs makes it fun cause you almost can't get enough travel to fit the new u bolt in place because of the bump stop mount. Someone nabbed my 2' tall jack stands, so I had to do it with 3 short stands and two jacks was a little tight, but I got them both done except for that dang upper shcok mount in about 3 hrs. I still have to check to see if I need to adjust the panhard bar to recenter the rear.
