more than likely, hotter. especially if your running headers or a modded out mill.

is there a temperature rating on the packaging?

got to remember that ductwork is much thinner sheet steel and can dissapate heat faster. the floor will tend to soak heat up and store it, and in turn gets AND stays hotter for longer.
