I agree with N2TRUX on getting it reliable and about the new motor. I agree on the Summit part too. I'd check with your local GM dealership first but if they want more then I'd go with Summit. I checked with my GM dealership last year about the 260hp GM 350 Goodwrench motor and they wanted almost $2,000 for the motor whereas Summit has it for around $1,500 plus truck freight. Glad to see you've decided to keep the truck too.
